Middletown Square Park Offers an Accessible Gazebo and Picnic Area Beside the Library

MIDDLETOWN — November 2, 2026. Lake County Parks maintains Middletown Square Park at 21249 Washington Street, next to the library and senior center.

What makes this downtown park useful

The county lists accessible areas, a gazebo, shaded lawn under mature oaks, benches and picnic space. It describes the site as designed for social gatherings and community functions in the center of Middletown.

A shared civic block

The nearby building houses the Middletown Library, a senior center and a community meeting room that can be rented under separate county arrangements. A visitor can enjoy the outdoor lawn without assuming access to a private booked room.

Events and applications

The county says the space has been used for popular local gatherings, including farmers market events. A past event mention is not a verified November market schedule. Check with the event organizer and the county facility office before arranging an activity.
