Middletown Park and Pool Has a 25-Yard Pool, Kiddie Pool, Tennis and Picnic Shelters

MIDDLETOWN — November 2, 2026. Lake County Parks lists Middletown Park and Pool at 20962 Big Canyon Road as a combination of outdoor recreation area and community swimming facility.

What the park contains

The county identifies a 25-yard recreation pool, shallow children’s pool, playground, tennis court, picnic shelters, restrooms and changing facilities. The county describes its swimming complex as fenced with bathrooms, showers and a lawn for gathering.

Opening a facility is a different question

The park amenities page describes infrastructure, not the current swim program. Outdoor swimming may be seasonal and requires lifeguard and staffing arrangements. Residents should check the Parks Department’s actual hours and admission schedule before telling children the pool is available today.

Group use and reservations

A picnic shelter or tennis court can be used under separate local rules. Check accessibility, possible field maintenance, fees and reservations through the county Parks office before planning a large event.
